Cynthia Blair of Blair Cato Pickren Casterline receives Outstanding Advocacy of the Year Award

The law firm of Blair Cato Pickren Casterline announced that Cynthia Durham Blair received the American Land Title Association’s (ALTA) Outstanding Advocate of the Year Award at ALTA’s recent Advocacy Summit in Washington, DC. The annual award is given to a member of ALTA’s grassroots organization, the Title Action Network. The award recognizes a member who promotes ALTA’s advocacy agenda and is dedicated to communicating ALTA’s message to members of Congress.

Cynthia Blair is very active in the real estate industry, having served as officer and director of both the Palmetto Land Title Association and the Mortgage Bankers Association of Greater Columbia. She is currently serving on the Board of Governors of ALTA and is the chair of its Abstracters and Title Insurance Agents section. Additionally, she serves on numerous committees and task forces of ALTA, all for the improvement of the real estate title and settlement industry. Blair is currently serving as the chair of the Real Estate Section Council of the South Carolina Bar. She is also a licensed instructor of continuing education for real estate agents in South Carolina.
