DESA welcomes Alex McCune as Project Engineer

DESA, Inc. announced that Alex McCune, P.E., has joined its Engineering Services team as Project Engineer.
McCune will be responsible for the management and design of transportation projects, water and sewer infrastructure, site layouts, and utility coordination.
“We are excited to have Alex on the DESA team. His design, site and project management, water-sewer, and stormwater experience are a great fit for DESA’s current project portfolio. He also has significance experience in environmental engineering, which may lead to exciting opportunities in the future,” says Diane Sumpter, President and CEO.
McCune was most recently Associate Project Manager at TRC Companies, a global consulting, engineering and construction management firm. He served as the onsite project engineer for a multi-year remediation and construction project at a power generation facility that utilized civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering disciplines.
A native of Columbia, McCune attended The Citadel, where he earned a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer in South Carolina and Georgia.
