DESA welcomes Veronica Adamson as Project Engineer

DESA, Inc. announced that Veronica Adamson, PE has joined its Engineering Services team as Project Engineer.

Adamson will be responsible for the management and design of transportation projects, water and sewer infrastructure, and site layouts.

“We couldn’t be more excited to have Veronica on the DESA team. Her experience adds a new skillset to our team, which may lead to exciting opportunities in the future,” says Diane Sumpter, President and CEO.

Adamson has significant land development and site infrastructure experience, storm water management, and pollution protection design experience. Prior to DESA, she designed and produced paving and wet utility infrastructure construction plans as engineering disciplines lead for Google’s Moffett Field Hangars 2 & 3 Improvement Plan Project. Her early background in acoustics and noise control for General Motors Corporation and others, continues to inform her outlook on the human aspects and impact of engineering design.

With family roots in Camden, SC, Adamson grew up in New York City and earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Master’s in Civil Engineering from Stanford University. Ms. Adamson resides with her family in Kershaw County and attends Gracelife Church on Clemson Road.
