Greenville Theatre

Greenville Theatre is a large professional theatre in downtown Greenville. Performing for people than any other producing theatre in South Carolina, our home is a beautiful 600 seat proscenium theatre on Heritage Green, between the Art Museum and the Library. Having been around since 1926, we are a cornerstone of the Upstate cultural scene. Showcasing our incredible local talent, we produce stellar productions of musicals, comedies, dramas, concerts, and mysteries. We also offer a tour-to schools program that impacts over 35,000 schoolchildren a year. As the Upstate’s oldest and largest producing, professional theatre, Greenville Theatre strives to cultivate, inspire, entertain, and educate our community through theatrical experiences of the highest caliber.
