DP3 Architects, Ltd. receives AIASC Design Award for the DP3 Architects Office Upfit

DP3 Architects won an award at The American Institute of Architects South Carolina (AIASC) 2019 Design Awards. The DP3 Architects Office Upfit won a Citation Award for Interior Architecture.
Having outgrown its current office, DP3 Architects needed to move to a larger space. DP3 Architects designed unique spaces to encourage collaboration including an open environment, open glass conference rooms, comfortable and flexible seating in the team break/common room, and adjustable-height workstations.
The new space, 30 percent larger than the prior office, is not the traditional expected tenant upfit in a Main Street corporate office building. The office design is a fresh and trend-setting open layout that encourages teamwork with cutting-edge technology. An innovative, inviting atmosphere was achieved through walls of glass; custom quartz reception desk and kitchen features; exposed concrete on the floors and ceiling; and colorful, branded finishes.
Collaboration and morale between team members is at an all-time high and new energy and enthusiasm envelops the space. This collaboration promotes a level of innovation the firm, and its clients, haven’t seen before. DP3 Architects’ clients are seeing the benefits through increased idea-generation and responsive, solutions-based services.
