Dreher graduate awarded a National Merit Scholarship

A 2017 graduate of Dreher High School is among the 29 South Carolina students who have been named as winners of the highly prestigious National Merit Scholarships financed by colleges and universities.
Richland One congratulates Dreher graduate Kristofer L. Crabtree on his selection as a winner. Kristofer, who plans to pursue a career in mechanical engineering, was awarded his scholarship by Clemson University.
To date, four Richland One students have received National Merit Scholarships. Three other winners were announced in June.
Colleges and universities select scholarship winners from among the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program finalists who plan to attend their institutions. The awards, which recognize academic excellence, provide $500 to $2,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study.
