Eckstrom to Speak at School Officials’ Conference

MYRTLE BEACH, SC – November 4, 2009 – State Comptroller Richard Eckstrom will address the S.C. Association of School Business Officials on Wednesday, November 4 at 2 pm at the group’s annual conference.
He will speak on the issue of spending transparency. Eckstrom is working with the state Department of Education and South Carolina school districts to put the districts’ spending details online beginning next year.
The conference will be held in Myrtle Beach at the Embassy Suites.
