Here are her 10 tips for selling on eBay:
- Sell by auction format starting at 99¢ or less.
- Sell only good quality used items.
You don’t want complaints or negative feedback.
- Make your subject lines enticing.
- Use well-lit product photos on plain backdrops.
Or photos of you modeling an item yourself.
This gives buyers an idea of how it will look.
- Offer your items at peak viewing times.
After school or work and evenings are best.
- Build a reliable seller reputation.
Buyers will talk about you, Make it good talk.
Search engines will help if they get no complaints.
To build a positive online reputation:
- Solicit feedback and act on all complaints.
- Track your sales and where they come from.
- Respond quickly by packing and mailing orders.
- Offer free postage as a sales incentive.
- Never offer anything you’ve already sold.
You can’t afford to disappoint your buyers.
- Mail when you promise – or sooner,.
- Don’t fret if items don’t sell for all you hoped.
It’s a competitive market, Don’t be disheartened.
