Final Spring Pre-K Registration Session for 2015-2016 School Year

COLUMBIA, SC – The final spring registration session for Richland One’s 2015-2016 pre-kindergarten programs for four-year-olds will be held May 21 at 6 p.m. in the Lower Richland High School auditorium, 2615 Lower Richland Boulevard in Hopkins.
At the session, families will receive a registration packet and must bring the following documentation:
- Child’s long-form birth certificate
- Child’s immunization certificate
- Two proofs of residence (lease or mortgage statement and a utility bill or a shared household document)
- Proof of income (child’s Medicaid card or parent’s paycheck stub)
Parents are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to get their children registered before the summer screening dates begin.
Children accepted into the program must be four years old on or before September 1, 2015 and families must meet the federal guidelines for free and reduced-price lunch. Parents who need additional information should contact the Early Childhood Education Office at 231-6709.
