First on-demand storage company launches in Charleston

This April, STASH Storage will launch as the only on-demand storage business in Charleston, SC. The company looks to transform the approximately $30 billion traditional self-storage model by providing customers in the tri-county area storage solutions designed to save time and money. STASH has already raised nearly $1 million in seed capital.

The benefit of STASH is that customers will never go to a storage unit again, as STASH handles all labor, transportation and storage. STASH customers select and schedule a personal storage solution online, then STASH picks up their belongings for free. STASH then organizes, barcodes, photographs and stores the items at their climate-controlled storage facility. Customers can access and manage all of their stored items online via a personal STASH account. Customers have the ability to view items in storage, select any items they’d like returned and schedule an exact time and date for delivery.

STASH will offer services seven days a week, with item(s) picked-up and returned within 24 to 48 hours. Customers can schedule pickups and deliveries online, via phone or chat.

By only paying for what is stored rather than storage space itself, customers control their own storage costs. Three main pricing packages are designed to offer affordable, on-demand storage to fit the customer’s individual needs.
