Former Furman IMG Gm joins SC Football Hall of Fame

Wyatt Sports, LLC’s marketing division Wyatt Sports Marketing (“WSM”) hired former Furman IMG general manager Harry M. Day as the Account Executive of Corporate Membership Sales for the South Carolina Football Hall of Fame (SCFHOF).
“We are proud to have Harry Day join our team. Harry’s professionalism, experience and expertise combined with his passion for the mission of the SCFHOF make him a perfect fit,” said David Wyatt, a sports entertainment and business attorney and Wyatt Sports’ president.
Day is a 2010 graduate of the University of Georgia and he earned a masters’ degree in Sport Management and Policy from there in 2011. He worked in sales and event management with IMG in Athens, and Tampa, before moving to Greenville in December of 2013 to join Furman IMG as an account executive. He was promoted to general manager in August 2015. He broke revenue records in each of the four years he worked for Furman IMG.
“I am extremely excited and appreciative to be joining this fast-growing organization,” Day said. “I am honored that David Wyatt wants me to be a part of their team and to help with the South Carolina Football Hall of Fame’s mission to ‘Make a Difference Through Football.’”

This past April, the SCFHOF celebrated their 5th Anniversary Enshrinement Class at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Greenville. They inducted SC State legend Charlie Brown, Wofford College and Air Force great Coach Fisher DeBerry, Clemson and Pittsburgh Steeler legend Levon Kirkland, former Furman Head Coach great Dick Sheridan, and former Heisman Trophy winner Tony “Doc” Blanchard (posthumously) of McColl.
Also honored was former Clemson quarterback, Deshaun Watson, who was given the first ever Blanchard-Rogers Trophy presented by Hale’s Jewelers as the 2016 Collegiate Player of the Year, and former Dabo Swinney agent Mike Brown was posthumously given the 2017 Humanitarian of the Year for his efforts with Dabo’s All In Foundation and Arians Family Foundation. 2018 Enshrinement activities are scheduled for April 18 and 19..
