Former journalist Angela Rogers joins NP Strategy; Expands media relations services
March 20, 2019NP Strategy added another veteran news reporter to the firm’s team with the addition of former journalist Angela Rogers. Rogers, a reliable, trusted storyteller has spent nearly half a decade in newsrooms across the United States. Utilizing her engaging and authentic approach, Rogers will manage media outreach and assist clients throughout North and South Carolina engage with key audiences through captivating social media content.

Prior to joining NP Strategy, Rogers was a senior reporter at ABC Columbia, covering news stories throughout South Carolina. Rogers’ journalism skills extend behind the camera as well, serving as a studio technician in Des Moines, Iowa and moving up to a morning producer, then a multimedia journalist in Minnesota. Rogers realizes the digital era of journalism is pushing storytelling to more social platforms, opening the doors for more engaging and expansive messaging.

Through Rogers’ producing experience, being a “one-man band” and being the only dayside reporter at ABC Columbia, Rogers quickly learned how to switch gears in a moment’s notice while still being able to make tight deadlines.

Rogers was raised in Minneapolis, Minn. and graduated from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa with a BAJ in Broadcast News, a BA in Sociology, and a concentration in Business Law.
