Free Wi-Fi for Moncks Corner Ballpark

On April 2, local officials, business leaders, and families will gather at the Town of Moncks Corner Recreation Complex for the Little League Opening Day ceremonies and a special announcement from Google. Google is bringing its latest “Wi-Fi in public places” project to the Town of Moncks Corner. Nearly 500 attendees are expected to be at the ceremonies and to hear how the free Wi-Fi for the Moncks Corner Ballpark will allow residents, business and visitors access to the internet from the park.

 

The project is funded by Google and administered by the Town of Moncks Corner.  It showcases a shared commitment to developing, attracting, nurturing and promoting the area’s knowledge economy.

Moncks Corner Ballpark advances with free Wi-Fi.

To provide free Internet access that will allow residents, business, and visitors to access the internet from the ballpark.

Berkeley County Supervisor Peagler will throw the first pitch to Mayor Lockliear. Sanchez and guest will perform a special ceremony, prior to the introduction of the teams, announcing the free Wi-Fi service in Moncks Corner.
