Get Your Tickets Now: Support the Humane Society’s Spay and Neuter Clinic Fundraiser!
September 24, 2024The Humane Society of Laurens County, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is hosting a fundraiser to support their goal of offering affordable spay and neuter services at their Clinton, SC facility. Since opening in July 2015, the Humane Society has served as a No Kill Adoption Center for both dogs and cats, and remains the only facility in Laurens County that accepts cats.
Located at 793 Poplar Street in Clinton, the Humane Society is working to establish a much-needed low-cost spay and neuter clinic to combat pet overpopulation in the area. While other counties in South Carolina offer such services through their Humane Societies and municipalities, Laurens County currently lacks this option.
“Affordable spay and neuter services are the only long-term solution to addressing the overpopulation of unwanted litters, like the many we’ve taken in over the last nine years,” a spokesperson from the Humane Society shared.
To support this critical initiative, the Humane Society will be hosting a fundraiser and auction at The Cotton Loft, located at 305 W Main Street, Clinton, on October 26, 2024. The event will begin at 6 p.m., with a silent auction during dinner and a live auction starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person and include a delectable meal catered by Star Chappell, as well as access to a cash bar.
The Humane Society is excited to announce that they are almost at their goal of selling 100 tickets for the event, bringing them closer to offering these essential services to the community. Tickets can be purchased directly at the adoption center, via Venmo or PayPal by scanning the QR codes on the event flyer, or by mailing a check to PO Box 1600, Clinton, SC 29325.
All proceeds from the event will go directly toward the Humane Society’s mission of building and operating the low-cost spay and neuter clinic for community pets. For more information or to purchase tickets, call 864-833-9060.
The Humane Society is calling on the community to come together for a night of great food, fellowship, and bidding, all for a great cause—making affordable spay and neuter surgeries a reality in Laurens County.
