GMK Adds Ryan M. Infinger, PE, LEED® AP, as Director of Electrical Engineering

GMK Associates, Inc., welcomes Ryan M. Infinger, PE, LEED® AP, as our Engineering Division’s new director of electrical engineering. In this role, Mr. Infinger is handling the day-to-day oversight of the electrical engineering technical staff and project assignments, as well as spearheading select project-specific designs.

Mr. Infinger brings 12 years of electrical engineering experience with an emphasis on project management and electrical system designs/specifications primarily for healthcare, government, higher education, and commercial/industrial projects. His specific areas of expertise include design of power distribution systems (medium- and low-voltage), emergency power systems, indoor and outdoor lighting, grounding, area classification, lightning protection, fire alarm systems, telecommunications systems, arc flash hazard analysis, and miscellaneous auxiliary systems. He is further well versed in developing electrical designs that have achieved LEED certification standards and has performed extensive analyses of complex existing electrical systems for upgrades and renovations.

Mr. Infinger began his career as an electrical design engineer prior to roles as an electrical group lead and senior electrical engineer with multiple prominent engineering firms operating throughout the Southeast. Mr. Infinger is a registered professional engineer in South Carolina and is a LEED® Accredited Professional through the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI). He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering.
