GMK’s Clinton S. Earnest achieves PE designation

GMK announced that Clinton S. Earnest has recently achieved licensure as a registered professional engineer (PE) in the State of South Carolina through the South Carolina State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Surveyors.
“Our firm’s culture is one that encourages personal and professional development for all of our employees, and Clinton has exemplified that culture in his work ethic and through this major accomplishment,” said GMK’s director of electrical engineering Ryan Infinger, PE, LEED AP. “We congratulate Clinton on his achievement and are proud to have him as part of our engineering team.”
Mr. Earnest joined the GMK team in 2017 and has since then played a vital role in the production of plans and specifications for lighting, power, and communication system design for a range of clients and industries. He has assisted in the design and development of plans for multi-discipline architecture/engineer projects ranging from new healthcare facilities to renovation of existing commercial spaces to complex HVAC renovations. He has also taken the lead in electrical-only projects ranging from communication system modifications to generator additions. Mr. Earnest holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of West Florida. He also served in the United States Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer during Operation Enduring Freedom aboard the USS Gettysburg with responsibility for multiple electrical, computer, and communications systems.
