GMK’s Douglas B. White achieves South Carolina architectural registration

GMK announced that Douglas B. White, AIA, has recently received his individual architectural registration in the State of South Carolina through the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation – Board of Architectural Examiners.

Since joining GMK is early 2019, Mr. White has served as an intern architect supporting all aspects of architectural design projects, beginning with preliminary drawings and building models through preparation of final construction drawings and coordination with construction contractors. He has primarily supported architectural designs for governmental and commercial clients. Mr. White possesses 10 years of experience in a variety of architectural design, planning, estimating, and construction roles. Mr. White holds a master of architecture degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (through the Washington-Alexandria Architecture Center, an urban extension of the Virginia Tech School of Architecture + Design), as well as a bachelor of architecture degree from Clemson University. He further offers skills in rendering, 3D modeling, and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
