Godshall Professional Recruiting and Staffing earns Gold Standard Health Care Certification

November 28, 2016

Godshall Professional Recruiting and Staffing has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Health Care Staffing Services (HCSS) Certification. This certification demonstrates assurance to providing qualified health care professionals and meets national-based industry standards.

“We are thrilled to have this certification under our professional belt as it validates our commitment and accountability to clients and the health care professionals we help to employ,” said Julie Godshall Brown, president of Godshall Professional Recruiting and Staffing. “The Joint Commission is a name our clients know and trust, and I feel confident that this certification will enhance our healthcare staffing efforts tremendously.”

The certification process includes a rigorous onsite review where Joint Commission experts evaluate compliance with national standards that assess how health care staffing firms determine the qualifications and competency of staff, placement of staff and how they monitor performance. Four areas are addressed during the certification process: Leadership, Human Resource Management, Performance Measurement and Continuous Improvement and Information Management.

Established in October 2004, HCSS Certification, awarded for a two-year period, offers an independent and comprehensive evaluation of a staffing firm’s abilities to provide competent staffing services.
