Google sending managers to visit columbia, SC Devfest

COLUMBIA, SC – Martin Omander and Elizabeth Padilla, both Developer Relations Managers for Google will be speaking at Columbia’s first Devfest event on Saturday, October 24^th.  Topics will include “Boosting Your Career With Google” and “Firebase”, Google’s newest platform for building mobile and web applications.  Various other tech-talks and code-labs are also scheduled throughout the event including Android M, Angular.js, Firebase, and a fun Marshmallow Challenge.

Devfest: Columbia is a FREE event open to the public for adults and high schoolers and will be held at IT-ology located at 1301 Gervais Street, Suite 200, Columbia, SC.  The event will start at 10am and last until 4:30pm on Saturday, October 24^th.   Lunch and Google door prizes will be provided as well as a drawing for a tablet, watch or Chromebook.
