Google sending managers to visit columbia, SC Devfest

COLUMBIA, SC – Martin Omander and Elizabeth Padilla, both Developer Relations Managers for Google will be speaking at Columbia’s first Devfest event on Saturday, October 24th.  Topics will include “Boosting Your Career With Google” and “Firebase”, Google’s newest platform for building mobile and web applications.  Various other tech-talks and code-labs are also scheduled throughout the event including Android M, Angular.js, Firebase, and a fun Marshmallow Challenge.

 

Devfest: Columbia is a FREE event open to the public for adults and high schoolers and will be held at IT-ology located at 1301 Gervais Street, Suite 200, Columbia, SC.  The event will start at 10am and last until 4:30pm on Saturday, October 24th.   Lunch and Google door prizes will be provided as well as a drawing for a tablet, watch or Chromebook.
