Gospel in the Park: A Community Service in the Park May 21 at 10:30 AM in Falls Park

May 10, 2017

Christ Church Episcopal invites everyone to a community worship service with gospel music in Falls Park on Sunday, May 21 at 10:30 AM.

This community service near the Shakespeare Stage will include the liturgy of the Episcopal Church and feature gospel music sung by the Christ Church choir.

“When we worship, we worship together as a single body, which is just one of the many ways that Christ Church fulfills its mission of being a ‘joyful community sharing life in Jesus Christ,’” said The Rev. Dr. Harrison McLeod, Rector of Christ Church.

Christ Church will provide programs to guide the community through the service, including notes that explain the meaning and significance of each part of the liturgy.

After the service, food trucks will be available: Henry’s Smokehouse and Half-Apped with Chuck Truck Burgers.
