Gov. Haleysaid, “One of the great success stories of our administration has been LLR. Itwas an agency that had serious issues, it needed what I call ‘cleaning house,’and I will always be grateful to Director Catherine Templeton for going in anddoing in about 60 days what I thought would take six months. The one thing Iwanted to make sure of was that nothing changed but that it continued to improve– and that we find a director that could continue doing great things. HollyGillespie Pisarik was a partner at the agency with Director Templeton. She hasearned as much of this success as Catherine has, and to have her continue toimprove the agency is exciting for South Carolina and exciting for anyone whodeals with LLR. It’s an absolute asset to have her in theadministration.”

Pisarik said, “I am honored to accept this appointment, and I am very excited to have the opportunity to continue the progress we havemade at LLR. Over the last eight months, I have had the privilege of getting toknow a lot of the employees at LLR, and I am very fortunate to be able to saythat we have a dedicated and talented team of employees. I have witnessed andbeen a part of a lot of hard work done on behalf of the agency to better andmore efficiently serve the citizens, taxpayers and businesses of our state. Ilook forward to continuing this progress.”
