Gray Court Community Cleanup Set for September 14th in Honor of World Cleanup Day

Keep Laurens County Beautiful (KLCB) and Gray Court council members are inviting the community to participate in the Gray Court Community Cleanup on Saturday, September 14th, 2024. The event, scheduled from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, is part of World Cleanup Day, a global initiative aimed at reducing litter and promoting environmental stewardship.
Volunteers are asked to gather at 313 W Main St in Gray Court, where they will be assigned to clean designated areas throughout the town. To encourage participation, the first 10 registrants will receive a complimentary Keep Laurens County Beautiful t-shirt.
Courtney Stonell, Affiliate Coordinator for KLCB, expressed enthusiasm for the event, stating, “This is a great way for our community to come together and make a positive impact. We’re excited to be part of this worldwide movement.”
