Greenville Area Parkinson Society meets with Mayor Knox White

GREENVILLE, SC – The Board of Directors of the Greenville Area Parkinson Society met with Mayor Knox White on Monday, March 2^nd to receive a proclamation declaring April as Parkinson’s Awareness month in Greenville.

As part of Parkinson’s Awareness month, the Greenville Area Parkinson Society will host its 2^nd Annual Strike Out Parkinson’s Walk at Fluor Field on Saturday April 25^th from 10am to noon. This event will raise funds and awareness for more than 5,000 people living in the upstate with Parkinson’s Disease. All money raised at the event stays in the local community.
