Growing Home Southeast adds new Chief Operating Officer

Growing Home Southeast welcomed Dr. Beverly Buscemi as its new Chief Operating Officer. Dr. Buscemi joins the organization with more than 20 years of human services management, administrative, and direct service experience in the areas of developmental disabilities and mental health. She most notably served for 8 years as the immediate past State Director of the South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs.
“Beverly brings fresh eyes and a different perspective to the organization that will enhance our ability to fill service gaps in our ever changing communities. I am confident that given her leadership and management experience, direct service knowledge, and her familiarity with South Carolina, she will be a significant force for the agency, enabling us to increase our impact for children and families,” said Brennon Graham, President and CEO of Growing Home Southeast.
Dr. Buscemi holds a Ph.D. in Applied Psychology from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO, a Master of Arts degree from College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the College of Charleston in Charleston SC.
