Hayco Construction hires new Senior Project Manager

Hayco Construction, a Summerville general contractor, has recently hired Gus Smith as a Senior Project Manager. In his new position, the Chapin native will work to expand the Carolina’s Company into new South Carolina markets. This includes but is not limited to Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester Counties.
Smith says, “My basic approach to working in the commercial construction industry is to ensure honesty, integrity and a commitment to excellence in quality. This business is about relationships and staying true to these values is pivotal in the success of being a firm that not only owners and design professionals want to work with, but vendors and subcontractors alike.”
When Smith is not working, you can find him spending time with his wife and three girls. If he gets really lucky, he enjoys bird hunting and fishing.
