Boyd, a former managing partner of Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, counsels clients on business strategies and has handled numerous mergers and acquisitions and large-scale industrial projects. He serves as outside general counsel for a major South Carolina-based manufacturing firm.

A member of the American and South Carolina Bar Associations, The Defense Research Institute, Inc., and the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorney’s Association, Boyd received both his J.D. and B.A. degrees from the University of South Carolina. He serves on the boards of the South Carolina Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics Foundation, the Business and Industry Political Education Committee (BIPEC), and the executive committee of the Midlands Business Leadership Group.
A member of the American and South Carolina Bar Associations, Marvin D. Infinger is past president of the Charleston County Bar Association. He is also a member of the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association, the Maritime Law Association of the United States, and the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute.
At the request of the chief judge of the Federal District Court of South Carolina, Infinger served as chair of the Advisory Committee under the Civil Justice Reform Act, which reviewed and made recommendations modifying the practice rules mandated by Congress. Also, at the request of the South Carolina Supreme Court, Infinger served several terms as a member of the Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline.
Infinger received both his J.D. and B.A. degrees from the University of South Carolina. A resident of Charleston, he is admitted to practice in South Carolina, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the U.S. District Court, South Carolina, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Both Boyd and Infinger are permanent members of the Judicial Conference for the U.S. Court of Appeals Fourth Circuit.
