Homes of Hope Names Tim Brett to Board of Directors

GREENVILLE, SC – August 28, 2012 – Tim Brett has been named to the board of directors of Homes of Hope.

Brett is chief executive officer at Complete Public Relations as well as a former state legislator. He has twice chaired the Salvation Army Advisory Board and has served as president of the Mauldin Rotary Club. He is a past member of the Executive Committee of the State Chamber and a past board member of BIPEC. He received the Order of the Palmetto, the state’s highest civilian honor. He serves as chairman of GreenvilleConnect.

Homes of Hope

Homes of Hope is a nonprofit organization that exists to provide safe, quality, affordable housing for homeless and low-income families and individuals while also providing job skill training and mentoring for men overcoming drug and alcohol addictions. Since its inception in 1998, Homes of Hope has provided housing for 324 families or individuals and job training and mentoring for 264 men overcoming addictions. In 2011, Homes of Hope is actively planning the pursuit of new development opportunities that in 2012 could potentially yield 75 new units of affordable housing.
