Hopkins joins The Nature Conservancy in South Carolina

The Nature Conservancy in South Carolina (TNC-SC) welcomes Susanna Hopkins, Resilience Program Manager. In this role, Hopkins will lead the organization’s efforts to implement nature-based solutions in communities across the state.

“Susanna’s experience both in managing conservation projects and strategically thinking through how to work with communities position her well for this role that will leverage community involvement to bring smart nature-based solutions to life,” commented Liz Fly, PhD, director of resilience and ocean conservation, TNC-SC. “We’re excited to have her take on project management of our $6.8M project from NOAA’s Transformational Habitat funding opportunity that will accelerate the pace and scale of living shorelines along our coast.”

Hopkins holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Clemson University.
