HRP Associates Adds Two Environmental Health and Safety Compliance Engineers

GREENVILLE, SC – HRP Associates Inc. (HRP), an environmental and civil engineering and hydrogeology firm in Greenville, is pleased to welcome Laura Lopez-Sosa as Project Engineer and Michael Steinberg as Senior Project Engineer.
Lopez-Sosa and Steinberg will be responsible for meeting HRP clients’ needs in the multimedia areas of compliance, such as air, hazardous waste, solid waste, storm water, hazardous materials, aboveground/underground storage tanks (AST/UST), wastewater, and OSHA health and safety. These needs include permits, registrations, inspections, reporting, risk management and periodic training.
“I am excited to bring my environmental engineering training to a company that reaches out to many business sectors across the United States,” said Lopez-Sosa.
“I look forward to bringing my nine year background of industrial plant environmental health and safety (EHS) experience to the consulting sector,” added Steinberg. “In this new role with HRP, I can assist clients with high-level and complex projects wherever their needs may be.”
Lopez-Sosa is a graduate of Mercer University where she earned both a B.S. and M.S. in environmental engineering with a minor in Spanish. Steinberg earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Florida and is certified as an engineer-in-training (EIT) and Class ‘B” biological wastewater treatment operator.
