In the wake of Hurricane Helene, Jack Oliver’s Pool, Spa and Patio announced that they are leading an effort to provide aid to those in Western North Carolina whose lives have been devastated and are asking for contributions to help meet the need.
Shealy Trucking Service has provided a large box truck that is situated in the parking lot at Jack Oliver’s Pool, Spa and Patio in Columbia, and the public is asked to help fill it with much needed relief supplies including bottled water, sports drinks, non-perishable food, baby food, pet food and supplies, diapers and cleaning supplies.
Please bring these items to Jack Oliver’s Pool, Spa and Patio at 3303 Forest Drive, weekdays 10 a.m until 6 p.m and Saturdays 9 a.m to 5 p.m. Regarding this undertaking, Jack Oliver said, “We see that the basic needs of those in the storm-ravaged areas are not being met and we’re asking people to step up and help our neighbors to the north. We have a strong and giving community here and I know they’ll do all they can in this time of need”.
Once the truck is reasonably filled, it will go directly to Western North Carolina with its cargo of relief.
