Infinity Marketing welcomes talented class of spring interns

Infinity Marketing, a fully integrated marketing firm, announced the hire of Alex Marcum, Hope Emerson, Sam Verdeschi and Jackson Norrell as interns for the spring semester. Their addition speaks to Infinity’s continued progression across departments and its dedication to educating future talent of the marketing workforce.

“With a new semester comes new opportunities for ambitious students across the Upstate, and we are thrilled to have these four supporting our team for the next few months,” said Cassie Thompson, Director of Organizational Development. “I’m confident they will use what they’ve learned at their respective schools to take our projects to the next level, and we can in turn share our knowledge of the current marketing landscape.”

Joining the Creative Department, Alex Marcum will be utilizing his skills as the agency’s Graphic Design Intern. He will focus on the development of traditional and digital media design for a variety of clients. Marcum has an extensive design portfolio from pursuing his Associates in Arts from Greenville Technical College, along with valuable customer service skills from various positions in the Upstate.

Hope Emerson will be supporting the Social Media Team as Social Media and PR Intern. In her role, she is responsible for assisting in developing, executing and reporting social strategy as well as drafting press releases and media contact lists. Emerson has prior agency experience, most recently interning with Jeff Dezen Public Relations in Greenville. She currently attends Clemson University as a communication major.

Sam Verdeschi comes to Infinity as a Media Intern, supporting the DJ Influencer Team in providing quality control of air checks and tracking trends for retail and telecom client industries. She has several professional internships under her belt, including positions with TRU Simulation + Training and Clemson University Summer Scholars. Verdeschi is majoring in marketing and minoring in financial management at Clemson University.

Also joining as a Media Intern, Jackson Norrell comes to Infinity to assist in client deliverables, connect with radio vendors and track social media posts for influencers. Norrell has held several landscaping and lawn care positions in the Upstate and has experience in retail. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing/management from Lander University.

Infinity Marketing’s Internship Program provides college students and graduates with hands-on experience at a fun, fast-paced agency. During their time at Infinity, interns are offered a flexible schedule, opportunities to work with reputable clients to build a portfolio and in-depth agency exposure.
