James H. Suddeth III joins South Carolina Aquarium Board of Directors

As part of the firm’s longstanding commitment to community involvement, Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd’s James H. “Jeddie” Suddeth III was recently elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the South Carolina Aquarium. Jeddie joins 30 community leaders dedicated to advancing the aquarium’s mission.

“Jeddie brings business experience, counsel, and as a father of young children, important insight to the Aquarium board,” said Kevin Mills, Aquarium President and CEO. “We are grateful for his leadership and support.”

Jeddie serves as a member of the firm’s Management Committee and practices real estate law based out of Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd’s Charleston office. He works with developers on a variety of residential, commercial and mixed-use projects, and assists lenders with commercial real estate transactions. In addition, Jeddie represents South Carolina captive insurance companies with a range of matters, from formation and re-domestication of said companies to annual regulatory and statutory compliance needs.
