Jarrard, Nowell & Russell hires Shannon Williams as a staff accountant

Jarrard, Nowell & Russell, LLC (JNR), a Charleston-based accounting and business advisory firm, has added Shannon Williams as a staff accountant.

Prior to joining JNR, Ms. Williams was in the United States Army for three years as a supply specialist. Shannon became an accounting professional in 2020 after earning her degree in accounting from Cameron University where she was a Dean’s list and honor roll student with a 3.8 GPA. In her new position at JNR, she performs general bookkeeping duties, including posting transactions to the general ledger, preparing bank reconciliations, and preparing monthly financial statements and sales tax returns. She also processes weekly and monthly payroll and prepares quarterly payroll reports for clients.

Shannon has been an active member of the United Way along with various other community activities. Ms. Williams has been a great addition to the JNR team, and she currently resides in Summerville, SC with her husband and two daughters.
