In the past we had always gathered in-person. Our event on November 12 is a new format for us. We will be virtual! Attendees will come together to reconnect with each other, share recent experiences and start focusing on how to address Greenville’s most pressing community challenges in 2021. I am delighted that Eric Martin will be our facilitator. I am excited to introduce him to my nonprofit friends.”

Shine the Light Nonprofit Forums will resume its professional development opportunities in 2021 with Leading Through Uncertainty. This six-month cohort, designed in partnership with Adaptive Change Advisors, will offer community leaders a new framework for mobilizing change during this current time of uncertainty and transition. Individual participants or teams of collaborative partners will bring their own leadership challenges which will serve as the core for the curriculum and learning. Attendees can expect to make significant progress on their challenges alongside their peers.

Anyone in the community who is working to tackle a thorny or persistent challenge is encouraged to participate. Executive directors, nonprofit staff members, emerging leaders, board members, business leaders, community partners, funders, public officials, and other community stakeholders are welcome. Participants are encouraged to attend with a team of leaders who will work on their identified issue together. Folks do not need to hold an existing management position or title to qualify. Fees for the entire series range from $250 to $350. Details and registration information can be found at www.NonprofitForums.org Limited seats are available.
