Join the Clinton Library’s Book and Writer’s Clubs This Month!
October 23, 2024The Clinton Public Library invites book lovers and writers alike to join in two exciting community gatherings this month. Whether you’re an avid reader, an aspiring writer, or just looking for a way to connect with others, these free events are open to the public and sure to provide lively conversations.
The Clinton Book Talk will meet on Tuesday, October 29th, at 10:30 a.m. at the Clinton Library, located at 107 Jacobs Highway. This month’s featured book is The Secret Book of Flora Lea by Patti Callahan Henry, a captivating story blending historical fiction and mystery. No prior reading is required to participate in what promises to be a thoughtful and enjoyable discussion.
Writers and those with an interest in the craft are invited to the Clinton Writer’s Group on Wednesday, October 30th, at 11:30 a.m. This meeting will be held at the First Presbyterian Church library, with entrance through the office door. Whether you’re a seasoned author or just getting started, this group offers a welcoming space to talk about writing and share ideas.
