Jon Presley strengthens United Community Bank team in Summerville

United Community Bank welcomed Jon Presley as Vice President, Commercial Relationship Manager to its Summerville location. In this role, Presley will focus on cultivating full-service banking relationships with new and existing clients in the area.

Presley holds more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining United Community Bank, he served as a Commercial Loan Officer for Farmers and Merchants Bank of South Carolina and NBSC where he managed a mixed portfolio of retail and commercial customers in both Dorchester and Berkeley Counties. He has also held leadership roles with other regional institutions, including Assistant Vice President, Branch Manager and Retail Market Manager.

Presley was raised in the northern area of Texas and graduated from Abilene Christian University. He moved to South Carolina in 1995 and lived in North Charleston and Moncks Corner before settling in Summerville. He holds banking degrees from the South Carolina Bankers School at the University of South Carolina and the Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking. In 2007, Presley received his Executive MBA from Troy State University with an emphasis in bank management.
Presley joined the Rotary Club of Summerville in 2006 and has served in a variety of roles, including Board Member, Club President and Treasurer. He and his wife Suzie have four sons: Austin, Nick, Jackson and Harrison. Presley’s hobbies include early morning workouts, learning to play the guitar and making his own batches of beer.
