Josey Appointed to SC Bar Foundation Board of Directors

FLOReNCE, SC – Turner Padget announced that J. Rene Josey, a shareholder in our Florence office and a member of the Business Litigation team, has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the South Carolina Bar Foundation effective September 18, 2014. Mr. Josey, who has been named as a South Carolina Super Lawyer in the area of Business Litigation and to the list of Best Lawyers in America in the areas of Appellate Law, White Collar and Non-White Collar Crime, currently serves on the Supreme Court of the South Carolina Commission on Continuing Legal Education & Specialization. In 2010, he was awarded the Compleat Lawyer Award from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
The Bar Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the South Carolina Bar. Its mission is to advance justice by improving access to the justice system, especially for those unable to afford civil legal services, and through public education and accountability.
