“The JDRF Palmetto Chapter is excited to be entering into a long-term lease renewal and expansion in the 1122 Lady Street building, a 12-story high-rise office tower located in the heart of downtown Columbia at Main and Lady streets,” said Kevin Simmons, Executive Director of the chapter. “The work that we do supporting families living with type 1 diabetes and raising funds for improved treatments and a cure of type 1 diabetes is important, and having our offices centrally located in South Carolina and in the heart of downtown helps us do that work.

“We have enjoyed a very good relationship with Colliers International and their staff over the past two and a half years, and working with them to move forward on this new lease was a seamless process. We appreciate their support fulfilling our real estate needs for our Columbia, SC office headquarters. This new, expanded office will enhance our ability to successfully work towards our mission of addressing the needs of type 1 diabetes.”

Johnson, a Vice President, and Suggs, a Brokerage Associate, are both members of the Colliers office brokerage team, which specializes in the representation of clients in the leasing and sale of office properties.
