King Charles Inn welcomes Ray Berrouet as Director of Sales

King Charles Inn, a historic hotel located in the heart of downtown Charleston, welcomes Ray Berrouet to its staff. Berrouet has joined the King Charles Inn team as its Director of Sales and has more than 15 years of experience in sales and hospitality.

“Ray is a well-known figure in the Charleston area with an extensive hospitality background and he has a proven track record of facilitating great business relationships,” said Maureen Sheridan, General Manager at King Charles Inn. “His outgoing personality and expertise in sales will truly be an asset to our team.”

Berrouet burst onto the Charleston hospitality scene after graduating from College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Arts in French Literature and a concentration in International Business. Berrouet comes to King Charles Inn after previously working sales and management jobs at Orient-Express, Belmond Charleston Place, Zero George, and Cannon Green.

In his new role at King Charles Inn, Berrouet will be responsible for implementing a creative marketing plan that attracts new and repeat guests, development of strategic sales initiatives, and continuing the effort to deliver outstanding guest service.
