Lakewood Camping Resort debuts High Steppin’ Country’s 42nd summer season on June 19

Visitors to the Grand Strand will be able to enjoy another year of Lakewood Camping Resort’s High Steppin’ Country concert. The 42nd annual season opens on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at Lakewood Camping Resort’s Theater by the Sea.
This two-hour, high-energy show boasts a range of music that includes two selections of Elvis favorites, old and new country, gospel and patriotic medleys, as well as a section for children. The show features 14 talented performers who sing and dance at the only oceanfront amphitheater on the Grand Strand. Lakewood’s Theater by the Sea provides the perfect atmosphere to enjoy the show on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights until September 1. The pre-show begins at 8:15 p.m., followed by the main performance at 8:30 p.m.
Not a guest at Lakewood Camping Resort? Not a problem. Parking for all non-camping guests will be available directly next to the Lakewood Properties building located on Frontage Road just to the right of the campground’s entrance. Complimentary golf-cart shuttles will be provided to transport guests to and from the theater beginning at 7 p.m.

Lakewood’s amphitheater will also host Sunday worship services at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., as well as gospel concerts on Friday nights at 8 p.m. until September 1. Admission to these is free and open to the public.
