LaserForm & Machine, Inc. obtains ISO 9001:2008 Certification

COLUMBIA, SC –  LaserForm & Machine, Inc., a metal fabrication and machine shop located in Columbia, South Carolina, has been awarded ISO 9001:2008 Certification for its quality management systems, demonstrating the company’s commitment to providing the highest quality products and services to its customers.

To obtain ISO certification, a company is required to undergo a stringent evaluation process that includes quality management system development, documentation review, gap analysis, internal audits, pre-assessment, and clearance of non-conformances that identify corrective actions and eliminate non-conformances to the quality management standard. LaserForm & Machine, Inc. successfully completed this process and was awarded ISO 9001:2008 Certification in August of 2014.

“Since we started this business over 20 years ago, we have always strived to be the best in the business through investing in the most technologically advanced equipment and developing internal processes that insure that high quality parts are delivered on time as promised to our customers,” said Ric Fleck, co-owner of LaserForm & Machine, Inc. “Obtaining this ISO certification validates our commitment to those efforts.”
“Our customers have always expected higher standards from LaserForm for quality and on-time delivery; and ISO certification verifies that we will continue to strive, as a company, to exceed even the highest expectations put forth by our customers. The delivery of high-quality parts on time is a standard for LaserForm, not just a promise; and our entire organization works very hard to maintain our reputation in the marketplace as an exceptional manufacturing partner for our customers”, said Chip Elsasser, Vice President of Business Development.
