Laurens 55 to Transition to E-Learning Due to Hurricane Helene

In response to the disruptions caused by Hurricane Helene, Laurens 55 has announced that students will transition to E-Learning from Monday, September 30, through Wednesday, October 2, 2024. This decision comes as a result of widespread power outages, impassable roads, and road closures affecting the area.
During this period, students will engage in online learning to continue their education while prioritizing safety. Specific details regarding assignment distribution and online access will be communicated to families at a later date.
As a reminder, Laurens 55 will observe its Fall Break from October 3 to October 11, allowing students and staff a well-deserved break following the E-Learning transition.
