LawyerLisa, LLC hires Lane Cook

LawyerLisa, LLC is pleased to announce the hire of Lane Cook, the newest Trust and Estate Attorney to join the firm.
Lane brings a unique perspective to LawyerLisa after years as a Trust Officer in a bank trust department. In this role, Lane was responsible for the day-to-day management of trusts and their assets, while gaining knowledge on the proper objectives to develop a well-constructed estate plan. Lane is particularly proud of his efforts administering dozens of Special Needs Trusts and he is keenly aware of the special care required when drafting and administering trusts for the benefit of individuals with special needs.
In addition to his experience with trust administration, Lane possesses a wealth of financial and investment expertise. Lane earned the CFP, Certified Financial Planner designation, and utilizes this knowledge to help clients develop comprehensive and tax-advantaged estate plans.
Lane is an honor graduate of Cannon Financial Institute’s Trust School. He attended the University of South Carolina, J.D., 2010, and was a University of South Carolina, B.A. Magna Cum Laude graduate in 2008. Lane is a member of the South Carolina Bar and South Carolina Bar Elder Law Committee.
Originally from Aiken, SC, Lane and his wife Brittany have two children with another on the way due in February.
