Legal Marketing Veteran Announces LinkedIn Marketing Seminars for Attorneys

CLINTON, SC – Stewart Marketing & Consulting has announced its initial schedule of social media seminars focused on “Using LinkedIn as a Professional and Organizational Tool.”  Led by industry marketing veteran Brenda Stewart, the seminars are designed to help attorneys maximize their use of LinkedIn while being compliant with the rules of professional conduct.

“The use of social media to “network” is increasingly used in the professional environment, but engagement for attorneys is not without risk,” said Stewart. “LinkedIn can be a powerful tool to build professional relationships, promote services, and increase thought leadership, but attorneys using LinkedIn and other social networking sites must consider the ethical ramifications of online networking.”

Each seminar session is 1.5 hours in length and has been approved for 1.5 hours of LEPR/MCLE credit.  Dates and locations for the LinkedIn training are:

    • Greenville, SC (March 5th) Crowne Plaza Hotel
    • Spartanburg, SC (March 10th) Main County Library
    • Columbia, SC (March 17th) SpringHill Suites

Two sessions will be offered at each location.  Morning sessions will be from 8:00-9:30 a.m. and lunch sessions will be held from 12:00-1:30 p.m.  Continental breakfast will be provided for the morning sessions and lunch for the noon sessions.

In addition to learning how to ethically use LinkedIn to market and promote their practice, all attendees will have the opportunity to connect with the presenter on LinkedIn and then receive additional suggestions for enhancing their profile and developing a strategy for using LinkedIn as a professional networking tool.
