Lewis Caswell and Bruce Williams recognized by National YMCA for Significant Contributions to the YMCA of Columbia
September 23, 2014COLUMBIA, SC – September 22, 2014] – Lewis Caswell and Bruce Williams were recognized by the YMCA of the USA and added to the National Honor Roll for their significant contributions to the YMCA of Columbia.
The award was presented by Burnie Whitson, YMCA of the USA Resource Director for South Carolina, at the YMCA of Columbia’s annual Breakfast of Champions in August.
National Honor Roll donors, through their generous cumulative contributions, have significantly helped the Y ensure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the ability to learn, grow and thrive.
For nearly 160 years, the Y has been at the heart of community life across the country, working to build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. Donors like Caswell and Williams advance the YMCA mission and support the Y’s efforts to deliver the life-changing programs and services that are helping people to achieve their full potential.
