May 17, 2018

Clancy Cipkala, managing partner and CEO of Solara Hospitality based in South Carolina announced the construction of a new 138-room Courtyard by Marriott in North Charleston.

“The strengthening local economy and booming population are driving demand and creating high occupancy and rental rates across retail, multifamily, office and industrial property markets,” stated Cipkala. “Construction in Charleston is at record-high levels, with projects being developed across all development types and this hotel fits those potential guests.”

The partnership is proud to have local investors.  They also plan on having local residents staff the hotel and adding tax revenue to the area.

Living in South Carolina for over 30 years, Cipkala and his team have invested over $100 million in hotels and real estate in the Lowcountry. He is thrilled and grateful to have the opportunity to add business and jobs in his home state.
