Logisticus Group promotes Ashley Sperling to Commercial Operations Director

Logisticus Group (LG), a transportation logistics, project management and technology company, recently promoted Ashley Sperling to Commercial Operations Director. Sperling’s primary responsibilities include leading LG’s sourcing team, volume forecasting and managing all aspects of the commercial phase to source new business, support bids and manage suppliers.
“Ashley has played an extremely important role in the growth of our business over the past few years,” said Phillip Mitchum, partner at Logisticus Group. “Her acute attention to detail has been an asset in the planning and execution of client projects. We are excited to see her grow in this new role as we meet the needs of our clients.”
Prior to Sperling’s promotion, she held the role of Senior Procurement Manager at LG and was responsible for managing a team to support sourcing activities. She specialized in analyzing cost data, developing internal communications for various audiences, and creating financial tracking documents for cost savings. Sperling developed strong supplier relationships to execute projects during her time at LG. Before joining LG, she worked as a Sourcing and Operations Specialist for Allyn International Services for GE Global Operations.

Sperling graduated from the University of South Carolina Upstate. Outside of the office, Ashley is staying busy renovating her future home, hiking outdoors and cooking new dishes.
