Logo Reveal South Carolina Power Team
April 27, 2015COLUMBIA, SC – South Carolina Power Team has launched its new corporate logo representing its direction as an organization while preserving the legacy of past work. The logo represents the forward momentum and energy created by its partners at Santee Cooper, Central Electric Power Cooperative and South Carolina’s 20 electric cooperatives.
Through a recent discovery process with its stakeholders, partners and allies, a new logo was created to modernize the organization’s look and overall feel, which was planned in the strategic blueprint, adopted in 2014. Partners in Progress and Prosperity is the phrase that reflects the core of South Carolina Power Team’s efforts and is its new slogan.
“This new logo captures the essence of what South Carolina Power Team is—an economic development organization—unique to its role as an utility partner, working with stakeholders, partners and allies alike to generate progress and prosperity throughout South Carolina,” explained James Chavez, President and CEO for South Carolina Power Team.
The icon creates three inner bars to represent Santee Cooper, Central Electric Power Cooperative and the 20 electric cooperatives. South Carolina Power Team as the economic development marketing arm completes the icon and all four outer bars come together visually illustrating the synergy of the Power Team system. South Carolina Power Team, with emphasis on the word power, highlights the electric utility the organization promotes. The momentum as a collaboration—South Carolina Power Team—has a strategic plan in motion to be the strongest, most essential utility partner for South Carolina.
