Fred Quattlebaum has affiliated with Good Life Advisors, a Registered Investment Advisor in the state of Pennsylvania and is branding his firm as Modern Family Asset Management here in South Carolina. Fred brings with him more than 31 years of experience in the industry. Fred holds his Series 7, 63 and 65 registrations with LPL Financial.

Fred chose to affiliate with Good Life Advisors and LPL Financial because of the opportunity to get access to state of the art tools that LPL and Good Life have to offer.

“After spending more than 31 years in the financial services industry, I’m proud to announce the formation of Modern Family Asset Management. I look forward to continuing to offer personalized investment advice and service with the help of LPL financial and Good Life Advisors. Together we will help our clients pursue their financial goals and dreams!”

CEO of Good Life Advisors, Conor Delaney, commented, “Mr. Quattlebaum brings energy and expertise to a market that we have wanted to penetrate for the last few years. Combined with a great client service model and customized financial planning for his clients, we are looking forward to Mr. Quattlebaum being an anchor for us over the next several years of our partnership together.”

Fred began his career in the financial services industry in 1984 working with numerous firms such as Dean Witter Reynolds, Sears Financial Network, Thomson McKinnon Securities, Prudential Securities, Legg Mason and Citi Smith Barney and most recently Wachovia Securities Now Wells Fargo Advisors to work on the bank side for eight years. Fred is conservative in his approach advising clients making sure they understand the worst-case scenario and how that can derail the best financial plan. His unique perspective of looking at the BIG picture has matured over 30 plus years experiencing the unexpected. He is now transitioning his business to Modern Family Asset Management as managing partner to have the freedom to bring a more empathetic and personal touch to his clients.

Fred is the son of SC High School League Hall of Fame member Coach Mac Quattlebaum who coached both girl’s and boys’ basketball, baseball as well as taught at Hollywood High School in Saluda County for 44 years. Fred’s mother, Eileen McDowell Quattlebaum, is still a very integral part of Fred’s life as she gives her insight and wisdom from her 91 years of life experiences.

Fred has a beautiful special needs nephew, Hunter, therefore he has been supportive of Family Connections of SC and the Special Olympics.
