LushAcres Opens Registration for Fall Field Trips

LushAcres Farm in Clinton welcomes school groups, community groups, and people of all ages to enjoy the farm experience.

They provide a fun environment for groups to interact with nature and learn about the importance of local farms in our community. The ever-expanding LushAcres Playground is brimming with new adventures to discover.

Highlights of a fieldtrip to LushAcres include the barnyard animal experience, a farm favorite, which allows students to get up close and personal with many of the farm animals. Seasonal activities, such as Spring u-pick strawberries, the Fall corn maze, and the new year-round gem mine, offer up plenty of educational opportunities for your students to learn in a unique and fun way.

Fall Field Trips are now being scheduled for 2023.

Details

  • All Fall Trips are scheduled on Tuesday through Fridays, September 19th to October 27th.
  • Field Trip Duration: approximately 2 hours, 9 am to 11 am.
  • Field Trips are completely outdoors. Be sure to have students wear close toed shoes and appropriate clothing for the weather.
  • They suggest a 1 to 4 ratio of chaperones to students for younger children and 1 to 6 for older kids.

  • All trips run 9AM to 11AM
  • Available Tuesday – Friday

$10 per person (children & adult)

Add More Fun (optional add-ons)

  • Pumpkin to take home $2 per child
  • Mini-Train Rides $50 per group
  • Corn Cannons $5 per child
  • Gem Mining $10 per child

Other Details

  • Free Chaperones – Get a free adult admission for every 6 kids registered.
  • When adding fun, add-on must include all registered children.
  • Once your request is confirmed an invoice will be emailed to you.

Accessibility

They want anyone who wishes to visit our farm to be able to do so. As a working farm, a majority of the pathways consist of gravel, grass, and dirt. Note that wheelchairs with small wheels may be difficult to move through some areas. Please reach out to our staff prior to your visit to discuss any accommodations that we may assist with regarding individuals with mobility impairments.

Strollers are restricted in the Barnyard Animal area. This is for sanitation reasons.
